Department of Orthodontics at RMDTH deals with standardized and comprehensive clinical practice along with related research. The department has become a leading Orthodontic Centre in Hazara after years of progress. Every patient is unique and has different needs, so we pride ourselves in providing orthodontic treatment that fits those specific needs. From consultation appointment to removal of braces, patient’s desired and beautiful smile is the epicenter of orthodontic care. Here innovative technology is provided at an affordable price. Orthodontic treatment works by using various dental appliances that are either removable or fixed to help move teeth, modify jaw growth and retrain muscles. Braces are the most popular and common amongst these appliances. In addition to providing excellent patient care, this department also provides academic services to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students are trained from basic orthodontic knowledge to applied evidence based clinical aspects of the subject. The department is also a center for postgraduate research.

Founder and Head of Orthodontics Department at Rehmat Memorial & Dental Hospital affiliated with Women Medical College Abbottabad. She has 10 years of experience as Head of Orthodontics. She is a supervisor for post graduate trainees at College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan.

Diagnosis, prevention, interception and treatment of various malocclusions ranging from growth modification, extraction treatment to planning orthognathic surgery. The mechanotherapy involving both removable and fixed appliances ranging through all ages from children to adults. Leadership potential of running the whole Orthodontic department by managing clinical as well as teaching aspects (undergraduate and postgraduate). Managing complex patients of craniofacial syndromes and distraction osteogenesis. She is also a trainer for the dental technicians to gain expertise in Orthodontic appliance fabrication.
