The Department of Prosthodontics at RMH provides general and specialized prosthodontic care and services to the diversity of patients. It has uplifted the meaning of patient care by providing simple and complex prosthodontic treatment facilities related to functional and esthetic needs of the patients of this region and beyond. The department is well equipped with conventional as well as digital facilities and can handle any level of procedure ranging from simple removable and fixed prosthodontics toadvance Implant and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. The Department is also providing pre-doctoral and post-doctoral academic services to the people of this region; which was ignored and overlooked since long.

Head of Department Profile
Prof. Dr. Majid Zia is Head of Prosthodontics and a senior level consultant Prosthodontist at Rehmat Memorial Hospital with more than 20 years of experience in the field of General Dentistry and Prosthodontics. He is Member of the Faculty and National residency program supervisor of Prosthodontics at College of Physicians and surgeons, Pakistan.
Skills and Expertise
Diagnosing, identifying, preventing and solving oral health problems. Implementation of conventional and digital techniques to enhance prosthodontic workflow. Prosthodontic management with a wide repertoire of solutions including extra and intra coronal indirect restorations, removable and fixed prostheses, various splints, maxillofacial prosthodontics, dental implants and comprehensive aesthetic and geriatric prosthodontic care.
